Lo Brutto Stahl is pleased to announce Home auto-psy, the first solo exhibition in France by the Swiss, Paris-based artist Manon Wertenbroek. The artist previously participated in the gallery’s first dialogue Wertenbroek/Wray, last September, as well as the off-site group show Air Service Basel 2024, in June. Opening on Saturday, October 12 (6–9pm).

The exhibition is accompanied by a text written by Maya Coline and features the most recent works by the artist.‍

Manon Wertenbroek (b. 1991 in Lausanne, Switzerland) lives and works in Paris, France. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from ECAL (École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, Switzerland) in 2014. Her works have been presented in exhibitions at Musée Cantonale des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne, Muzeum Susch, Centre Culturel Suisse Paris, Istituto Svizzero in Rome and Milan, Coalmine Winterthur and The Center for Contemporary art in Geneva, among others. In 2017, Wertenbroek was awarded a Swiss Art Award by the Federal Office of Culture. in 2018 she was granted a year long residency at the Swiss Institute in Rome.
